The 2025 campus-wide MATLAB license renewal for Shanghai Jiao Tong University has been completed. If you see a license expiration warning when starting MATLAB, follow the instructions below.

• For MATLAB R2023b and later: Sign out of your MathWorks Account from within MATLAB, then restart MATLAB and sign back in.

• For versions earlier than R2023b: Open the Activation Client (via Help > Licensing > Activate Software in MATLAB, or it will open automatically if the license has expired). Follow the prompts to activate automatically over the Internet using your MathWorks Account.

• For computer lab/classroom machines: Contact Mr. Zhou (zhoujing2021@sjtu.edu.cn) for the latest license file, then update the License Server following the guide at:
