ChemDraw is now available

Published:2025-11-07

To better support the teaching and research activities of faculty and students in chemistry, biology, and related disciplines at our university, the University-Genuine Software Licensing Center has officially launched the chemical structure drawing software—ChemDraw. We warmly welcome all faculty and students to download and use it!

Technical Specifications of ChemDraw Professional 25

  1. Supports installation on Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS systems, with additional web editing and cloud sharing capabilities.

  2. Enables drawing of various chemical structures, reaction equations, and biological pathway diagrams, supporting organic molecules, inorganic compounds, polymers, heterocyclic compounds, etc.

  3. Provides multiple bond types (single, double, triple, wedge, dashed bonds) and professional annotation tools (electron transfer arrows, radical symbols, etc.).

  4. Generates structural formulas from chemical names or produces standard IUPAC nomenclature from structures.

  5. Allows direct editing of chemical structures in Word or PowerPoint while maintaining vector graphic clarity.

  6. Simulates TLC plates and draws thin-layer chromatography spots.

  7. Supports calculation of physicochemical properties (melting point, boiling point, LogP, pKa, etc.), stoichiometric calculations, and spectral predictions (NMR, UV, IR).

  8. Features mass spectrometry interpretation and structure search capabilities (full structure, substructure, similarity search).

  9. Supports crystal image files (.CIF) and 3D visualization, along with macromolecular HELM notation editing.

  10. Enables seamless integration with common research software (e.g., SciFinder, Reaxys, Gaussian) and local compound library management.

  11. Includes teaching assistance features (stereochemistry dynamic demonstrations, 3D printing support).

  12. Supports multiple file formats (.cdx, .cdxml, .rxn, .rdf, etc.) and copy-paste formats (SMILES, InChI, etc.).
